The End

Goodbye to my student who loves to clean the classroom supposedly like she cleans are bedroom.

Goodbye to my student who kept me on my toes with all of his movement.

Goodbye to my student who got braces on and off in one school year.

Goodbye to my student who would share puns all day if he could.

Goodbye to the girl who creates coded messages for me to figure out.

Goodbye to the boy who loves the color red and Pete the Cat.

Goodbye to the girl who fully embraced the slice of life challenge.

Goodbye to the boy who is quiet but a great friend to everyone.

Goodbye to the girl who wears her heart on her sleeve.

Goodbye to the sports fanatic.

Goodbye to the man bun.

Goodbye to the girl who was always smiling.

Goodbye to the boy who needed daily reminders to put periods in his writing.

Goodbye to the girl with the best older sisters who stopped by for hugs at least once a week.

Goodbye to the chocolate treat giver.

Goodbye to the hat wearing boy.

Goodbye to the sweetest older brother and great friend.

Goodbye to the girl who was so animated when sharing at morning meeting.

Goodbye to the helpful girl with the sass.

Goodbye to the 2018-2019 school year!

Goodbye to an amazing year!

  1. This reminds me of Donald Graves book, A Sea if Faces. It’s all about knowing the children before us -knowing their stories and what makes them tic. You slice proves, you knew them, that feeling is one they will carry with them forever!
